Tips: Explicit describes things that are clear and need no explanation or implication. Explicit has come to be most commonly used to describe profane or sexual content, probably as a shortened version of "sexually explicit." When something is done explicitly, it is done clearly, specifically, and openly.
Usage Examples:

He was not very explicit about when he was planning to visit me. (specific, clear)
