Definition: close feelings of friendship and trust among individuals or a group

Synonyms: friendship, comradeship, companionship, brotherliness, fellowship

Tips: Camaraderie is related to the word comrade. Comrade was originally used to describe fellow members in the communist party. Comrade is also used to describe people from the same group. (i.e: "Welcome, my fellow comrades." Camaraderie is created when people are comfortable, friendly, and supportive of one another. This is often created when people have like interests or are comrades. Camaraderie is what we all hope to achieve with our friends and possibly our co-workers.
